"Development and adoption of Latin American Low-input Rice production system through genetic improvement and advanced field-management technologies" (SATREPS project, Leader, 2014-2019). A large project consiste of 4 pilars (breeding, crop mamagenent, water mamagement, diffusion system). We conducted on-farm field experiments in the central
rice producing region of Colombia, and applied crop model to give better management options to the producers. Seasonal weather forecast is integrated and a decision support sustems for the farmers was developed.
